Beyond the Final Whistle

Our Initiatives

A championship is ten days. What surrounds it is what decides whether a talented child is ever seen at all — and whether anyone can still find them a season later.

Initiative One

Government School Inclusion

Most participants who reach city-wide or state-level competitions already have some access to coaching, clubs, or schools with sporting infrastructure. Talented children studying in government schools — particularly across the rural pockets of Kushinagar — rarely get an equal shot at this kind of stage. Not for lack of ability, but for lack of exposure and access.

Many also arrive without proper sports shoes, which limits both their performance and their confidence to compete alongside better-equipped peers.

Youth Orbit reaches out to government schools across Kushinagar district, encourages their students to register and compete, and ensures that every participating government school child is provided with a proper pair of sports shoes — so that no child is held back on account of what they lack, rather than what they can do.

What this initiative aims to achieve

Wider, more equitable participation

From every corner of the district, not only from schools already connected to organised sport.

A level playing field

Regardless of which school a child studies in or what their family can afford.

A visible signal of support

That the district stands behind all of its students — not only its already-established athletes.

Initiative Two

The Digital Athlete Portal

Every athlete who competes at the Youth Orbit Games receives their own account on the Youth Orbit portal — a permanent, verifiable digital record of their sporting journey, similar in spirit to platforms like CricHeroes for cricket.

Each profile carries the athlete's event history, results, medals, and progress across seasons, visible to the athlete, their family, coaches, academies, and scouts.

Records kept locally or on paper are hard to trace over time. A profile is not.

Why this matters

For the athlete

A real, trackable record they can carry with them well beyond a single tournament.

For coaches and academies

A transparent, verifiable basis on which to spot and follow up with talent.

For the District Administration

A running, data-backed picture of where its young sporting talent stands, season over season — across schools, villages, and disciplines.

Potential is everywhere.

It just needs the right competition to reveal it, and the right platform to take it forward.
